Michelle Paret, Technical Training Specialist/Customer Support Specialist

As a member of Minitab's highly regarded technical support team, Michelle has been providing technical and statistical support to Minitab customers since January 2000. In addition to helping individual customers use Minitab, she has edited Minitab documentation and demonstrated the software's capabilities to audiences throughout the United States via the web.

Michelle's career as a technical training specialist began in-house when she was asked to provide statistical training to Minitab employees. Her classes were so successful that she quickly began to lead on-site and public training sessions as well. Her experience in technical support has given her great insight into the common issues that customers encounter — an understanding she enjoys sharing with all her students. "What I like most about training is the opportunity to meet face-to-face with customers and learn about how they employ Minitab for process improvement," Michelle says.

Michelle earned a B.S. in Statistics from the Pennsylvania State University, where she graduated first in her class. She spent two of her undergraduate semesters working for General Electric, and is currently finishing her Masters Degree in Statistics in Penn State's Applied Statistics program.
