Minitab Statistical Software 15.1.2 Update

The Minitab Statistical Software 15.1.2 update contains many new capabilities and usability enhancements to Minitab 15 Statistical Software.

This update applies to both Minitab 15.1.0 and Minitab 15.1.1. This update DOES NOT apply to the Minitab 15 trial, the 6-month or 12-month rental versions of Minitab 15 from e-academy.com, or to any earlier version of Minitab.

To install the Minitab 15.1.2 update, start Minitab 15 and select Help > Check for Updates. Consult your system administrator if your Update Service is not enabled.

Issues Resolved in Minitab 15.1.2

Several issues have been resolved in Minitab 15.1.2, including:

1. Factorial designs with a non-hierarchical model produce incorrect fitted values, residuals, and prediction results for uncoded units.
2. An assertion failure occurs when updating an Individuals Chart created with date/time values for historical stages.
3. Minitab doesn’t use the appropriate decimal symbol from Regional Settings when using the keypad.
4. If an invalid default file location is specified by an administrator during installation, a message is generated regarding the invalid location, even after a valid location has been set.
5. Performance is slow for searching and replacing large columns of text in the Data window.
