A manufacturer of fuel injector nozzles has installed a new digital measuring system and wants to know how well it works. The investigator uses a crossed gage R&R study to assess both the measuring system and the consistency of those who operate it.
Service Quality Sample - t-Test (in English)
A mail order catalog company ships orders from a large warehouse. The warehouse must ensure that the orders are shipped within a specific time frame. They use a run chart to assess stability of the process and a graphical summary to assess the distribution of deviations from the target times. Then they use a one-sample t-Test to help determine whether their mean shipment times are on target.
