StatGuide will not launch - ID 2190

Description

When I try to launch StatGuide using Windows Vista, a window appears with the following message: "Why can't I get help from this program?"

Solution

This message appears because WinHelp is not included in the Windows Operating System with Vista. To resolve this issue, Microsoft has released a WinHelp download for Windows Vista computers at the Microsoft Download Center.

To access the download, click the link, Microsoft Windows Vista WinHelp Download, below. You can download either of two files, Windows6.0-KB917607-x64.msu or Windows6.0-KB917607-x86.msu. Choose the download based on your operating system.

To find your operating system, right-click Computer and choose Properties. If your computer is running a 32-bit operating system download Windows6.0-KB917607-x86.msu. If it is running a 64-bit operating system, download Windows6.0-KB917607-x64.msu.

Downloading the file will install WinHelp for Vista.
