I recently took six days of extensive Minitab training. The training facilities were superb, course coordination was top notch, and even the catered lunches were excellent. The most important aspect of your training was the trainer. He is one of the best trainers I have encountered in my 30 years of experience in applied statistics, which includes quality assurance, reliability, and internal auditing. He was able to concisely and clearly address questions on basic statistics as well as complex issues in quality assurance, DOE, and reliability. His knowledge in a broad range of applied areas is superior. I believe it is important to introduce the problem correctly, set the stage, determine the assumptions, and solve the right problem. He has demonstrated that he is a master at solving the right problem. Minitab is certainly fortunate to have trainers like him.

I had already begun using Minitab software in my Six Sigma projects prior to the training. At that point, I was seeking more in-depth knowledge of the program plus a review of what I had already learned. What I received was more. The instructor was not 'just a software instructor', but a very knowledgeable and experienced project manager and statistician. Her ability to 'bring the lessons home' using real world examples and applying the tools to the different projects that each classmate was facing was extremely valuable.
